Jenny Pendleton (first appeared in The Love Story and last appeared in The Thanksgiving Story), was John-Boy's second girlfriend. They both had very strong feelings for each other, and John-Boy even says in The Elopement that he really wanted to marry Jenny.
Background
Jenny's father was Dave Pendleton, and her mother died when she was very little. Dave and Jenny then moved away, but returned about seventeen years later. This time, Dave has a wife, Eula Pendleton.

Jenny always loved John-Boy's writing, and was very optimistic and fun.
