Jimothy Bobertson "Jim-Bob" Walton (born June 13, 1924) is the youngest Walton boy, and the 6th child of Olivia Walton and John Walton. His twin, Joseph Walton, died at birth. His adoptive brother, Hamhock Walton, died after being stabbed in the heart with a rusty can opener by his (supposed) biological father Pork Cracklins Washington.

Jimothy Bobertson is referred to as "Jim-Bob" and, although he tries to shake it off as he gets older, the nickname sticks. In later episodes he wants joins the Air Force as soon as he can and even has his own avaiation helmet. Jim-Bob built a car from scratch, and it runs decently, although it does have occasional problems. He gets in a lot of fights with Ben. In the episode The Home Front he dates adoptive cousin Aimee Godsey, and in the episode Hamhock the Child Bride he attempts to marry his adoptive younger brother Hamhock, in spite of his protestations.

Personality

Jim-Bob is sort of a space cadet, he is the captain of his own freelance mercenary squadron known as Star Fox, and is locked in a never-ending battle to protect the Lylat System from the treacherous schemes of the evil scientist Andross. He usually refers to scenarios as being "dumb". Jim-Bob has a fascination with anything mechanical, especially cars, building his own from scratch with assorted scrap metal found in the junkyard. He has a passion for aviation and wants to become an airplane pilot in the Air Force. Like the others, he attends church every Sunday morning with the rest of the family, although he is not really interested in it. He can often be seen masturbating in church, particularly in the episode The Pearl Necklace. Jim-Bob appears to get along mostly with his younger sister Elizabeth, with whom he has a torrid incestuous relationship, as seen in The Secret. He and John-Boy have a fairly good relationship except when John-Boy gets angry at Jim-Bob for abducting a 12 year old female runaway in The Runaway. In the earlier episodes Jim-Bob discovers he had a twin brother, who died at birth, named Joseph Zebulon Walton. He and his adoptive brother Hamhock were great pals and loved bonding over their shared love of aviation until Hamhock was brutally murdered by the man who claimed to be his father.

In the reunion specials of the 90s, Jim Bob has grown incredibly fat and flamboyantly gay.
