Curtis Willard is the first husband of Mary-Ellen Walton. He is a doctor that replaced Doctor Vance on Walton's Mountain in The Wedding.

When Curt first appeared in The Wedding to replace Doctor Vance, he was very rude and hard to get along with, as he told everyone harshly their problems with health.
When he hired Mary-Ellen as his nurse, she taught him how to act and he became more polite but still very outspoken, like Mary Ellen.
